Welcome to my blog which will explore the present offerings of original mystery stories out there. If you're tired of many of the repetitive plots and well-worn characters swimming around in the offerings on your local bookstand, you'll be happy to hear that I've found a host of new, exciting, suspenseful novels and novellas that fit the bill as genuine mystery-suspense-thrillers. The first is a hidden gem called Grind Their Bones to Make My Bread. It's a mystery about a serial killer with a twist...he's likable; but unlike Dexter, he's not making anybody's life better. In fact, he's so good at what he does that the F.B.I.'s best agent is stumped by his absolute cunning. He's found the perfect way to dispose of his victims so that her team can't even tell that a murder has been committed. And some of it he does by remote control. No midnight, back alley sleazy killer, he operates in broad daylight with great panache. While she schemes and plots to bring about his downfall, he casually goes about doing what he loves to do...murder. He'll make you laugh, and you'll wonder why, as he proceeds through his victims methodically.
But there are other plot twists, such as his wife, who helps him accomplish his crimes. And his clever way to incorporate the neighborhood in his schemes. Add to that the frustration of the F.B.I. agent as she encounters one failure after the other, and you've got a must read. Just when you think you've figured it out, be prepared to find another plot twist that leaves you back at the starting point. Oh, the clues are all there...if you're clever enough to read them. And the ending...you'll never see it coming. Trust me, you'll be back for more. It's only $2.95 on Amazon Kindle.
